Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026.

Our commitment

Petit Plat is a meal-planning and food-diary app. We do not sell your personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Data we process

Depending on how you use the app, we process your email address, securely hashed password, session tokens, profile, goals, foods, recipes, plans, shopping lists, and diary entries. Limited technical logs may also be processed for security and service operation.

Why we use it

We use this data to provide and secure the app, synchronize data across your devices, send requested verification or password-reset emails, and respond to support requests. Processing is necessary to provide the service you request and for our legitimate interests in security and service improvement.

Apple Health and nutrition data

If you enable Apple Health, Petit Plat writes only actual diary-day nutrition totals. It never reads Health data or exports planned meals. Ciqual nutrition data is included locally; product searches may also query Open Food Facts directly.

Sharing and retention

We share data only with technical providers needed to operate the service (hosting, database, and email delivery), or where required by law. Your account is retained while active. After a deletion request, it is disabled and permanently deleted after the 30-day cancellation period. Requested exports are available for a limited time.

Your choices and rights

In the app, you can export your data, request account deletion, and choose optional analytics preferences. You can also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability by contacting guillaume.bailleul@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.
